Dreamy Night

Dreamy Night
Aurora Catchers thrilled to share great news: our collaborative artwork 'Dreamy Night', for the LightBox Expo Challenge — Holly Jolly Paint-a-Thon, took second place!

The artwork, centered around the theme 'Warm and Cozy', features a comforting palette of orange, yellow, pink, and red — colors intimately linked with warmth and the Christmas atmosphere. To create an appealing contrast, we introduced blue, teal, and cerulean to evoke the beauty of the northern night.
From a range of ideas, we chose the concept of a child befriending a gentle polar bear. They rest by the fireplace, enjoying hot tea and crispy fish. The fireplace's yellows and oranges create a sense of security, warmth, and comfort, while the child's large guardian, the polar bear, peacefully rests in the background. The sleeping forest and the calming blues of the sky complete the scene.

A special thanks to the organizers, sponsors, and judges of the challenge. We are more than happy to receive your vital feedback and suggestions about how to make 'Dreamy Night' even better. The most thrilling part was watching how the paintovers of Nathan Fowkes and Devin Elle Kurtz improved the artworks of the finalists.

Our team sincerely wish you that all your dreams come true!
